How to Make a Love Bucket

When my daughter was little, I would tell her often that I loved her. Her response was always "But why, Mama?" It makes you think. It's all too easy to go on autopilot with our loved ones, where "I love you" becomes a rote phrase. This project, a simple container made out of recycled containers and some twine, is much more than the materials. Fill it with notes for your family to discover, and I promise that you will all become more mindful. Recent additions to our bucket included "I love you when your nose crinkles up," or "I love your funny feet, which look just like my funny feet." Share the love.

Thanks to Katie at BowerPower for the reminder and the idea. Hop over to her blog to see the tutorial.
