While the field at Maker Faire / New York boasted a larger-than-life version of the Mousetrap Game and a tent turned into a soldering school, we decided to focus on the DIY-ers in the crafting corner. You'll find sewers, knitters and even a bicycle helmet customizer in our photo round-up of the two-day event held in Queens, NY.


Tadly Waldorfington is a "mimic octopus" who travels the world at the behest of the International Expedition Society. Of course of all of his wild adventures the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway is undoubtedly his most treacherous.
