Casual Knitted T-Shirt for Mom and Daughter (Free Knitting Pattern)

This causal knitted T-shirt comes in two sizes: one for mother and a matching one for daughter. The free pattern for it is adapted with permission from "Mom and Me Knits" (Chronicle Books) and knitted from a luxurious camel, merino, and silk blend yarn that is soft and warm at the same time. The optional front kangaroo pocket is perfect for carrying pebbles and beach glass or tissues and snacks during a seaside outing.

The child’s version has short sleeves, which can be lengthened by simply working the sleeve even in stockinette stitch to your desired length and then adding the seed stitch border. The fronts of the sweaters are also adorned by twisted lace stitch columns that are easy-to-work yet visually striking twisted lace.

I've made this and absolutely love this sweater. After reading her blog and wearing it several times, I might just rip it back and add waist shaping. I did the 'roo pouch, but I think I attached it too loosely and will redo that section as well!
