Peanut butter isn’t just your favorite; the birds love it and need it during cold weather. The Bird Booster not only tastes good, but will give birds fat and protein to help them through the cold weather.
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter (low-cost is OK)
- 1 1/2 cups shortening, bacon grease, suet, or all three mixed together
- 3 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sand

Step 1
Mix all ingredients until thoroughly blended.
Step 2
Smear it into a pinecone or on a tree trunk.
