Description

This collectible crochet pattern is very descriptive on how to crochet

a realistic carnation. I give direction in detailed explanation and pictures.

This time I choose to make a pink and white carnation, but they also look great white with dark red rim, or entirely pink or red. Have not tried other colors.

Basic flower crochet as to where you place the increases and decreases to make it look realistic.

You can use them in a corsage or make a bouquet with lasting beauty, if you mount them on floral wire. I also gave a suggestion how to crochet leaves, but in my opinion, a realistic look with silk leaves looks better.

I suggested making a corsage with the carnation as a center piece and little blue flowers in a doily.

All directions are included with pictures.

This is a cost efficient project - you get 3 carnation out of one ball mercerized cotton.

Great idea for inexpensive wedding favors or just because you love someone forever.

If you can crochet chains, single and double crochet stitches YOU too can make this just as you see in the picture. It would save a lot of money for your wedding.
