This pattern is originally from Spinnerin, Volume 150, published in 1962. This is no longer in circulation, so in order to make it available for more vintage loving knitters, I have rewritten and "modernized" the instructions to be more user-friendly for today's knitter. This includes writing out most of the pattern into actual stitches instead of just leaving you with the original text that was vague or simply stated in words instead of counted stitches. Directions are for sizes Small (36-38), Medium (40-42) and Large (44-46)
 
Original yarn used was:
Spinnerin Mohair 1001 or Cortina, 1 oz balls 17(18-19)
Or
Spinnerin Tempo or Frostlon, 2 oz balls 16(17-18)
Or
Spinnerin Mosaic, 2 oz balls 14(15-16)
 
Gauge: 3 sts x 4 ВЅ rows = 1"
 
Needles: Size 7 and 10 knitting needles - you will need either long needles or cable needles
