Description

How amazing is THIS?! I love the retro vintage flair this crocheted sw

eater has - and you can totally make it fresh with modern colors. These retro sweaters are the hip new trend - everybody's gotta have it. It's hard to find these things in the thrift shop, so just make one... you get the style you want, and you get to pick the color and size.

This listing is for the crochet pattern only. It is a .pdf file that is available for immediate download after purchase.

This pattern came from a 1973 magazine that is no longer in circulation, so in order to make it available for more vintage loving knitters, I am transcribing the instructions exactly as written in the original pattern book and offering them here.

This pattern is sized for a 32/34 (36/38) inch bust.

To change the size, change yarn width or needles to get the gauge you need.

Gauge: each square motif measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" worked in No. F crochet hook; 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" worked in No G crochet hook.

Needles:

crochet hook size F or G (depending on the finished garment size)

Original yarn:
Columbia-Minerva Nantuk Sport - 1(2) skeins of each of 5 contrasting colors
You can google vintage yarn to get the specification, then match it up with the modern yarn of your choice.
