Cheap and Easy Ring Display

After sifting through the limited, stale and often unattractive options for displaying rings, Andrea Spaventa at Studio Eleven 11 decided to take matters into her own hands and created a fabulous DIY ring display that costs only $5. For the photo tutorial, click the link below.

She found her "plater" and fabric at Goodwill for $5. The fabric was an old pair of linen pants and the base of the display was a candle holder. Really, any item with a similar carved out middle will work. Think cigar boxes, jewelry boxes, gift boxes, etc. This is where you can really create something interesting. Just make sure the middle inset is deep enough to cover the bottom half of a ring.

Materials: If you're using a light colored fabric like Andrea, then spray it with Scotch Guard to make it less likely to stain.
