I sewed these vinyl amp covers for my dad, a musician. He picked out the fabric, which is a dark brown vinyl with a striped pattern. Although I didn't use a pattern, I'm really happy with how they turned out! You can read more at Lindsay Sews.
This type of design would also work great for a custom tissue box cover or a sewing machine cover.
