Description

I just love this unique vintage sweater! It goes perfectly with today'

s trends. It's hard to find these things in the thrift shop, so just make one... you get the style you want, and you get to pick the color and size.

This listing is for the knitting pattern only. It is a .pdf file that is available for immediate download after checkout.

This pattern is originally from Spinnerin, Volume 150, published in 1962. This is no longer in circulation, so in order to make it available for more vintage loving knitters, I am transcribing the instructions exactly as written in the original pattern book and offering them here.

Directions are for VINTAGE Women's size 12, 14 and 16. Sizing is according to this chart from the original pattern book:

Size 12 14 16 18

Waist 25” 26” 28” 30”
Shoulder Back 13” 13 ¾ 14 ½” 15”

If you are crafty, you can probably adjust the pattern to fit larger sizes.

Original yarn used was:
Spinnerin Nylaine Germantown Knitting Worsted, 4 oz skeins - 4(5-5-6)
Or
Spinnerin Marvel Twist, 4 oz skeins - 4(5-5-6)
You can google vintage yarn and get all the specifications you need to shop around for modern equivalents.
