Lorraine describes her self as a "perpetual rip-out" and frustrated perfectionist — "striving to one day let my mistakes be a part of my project." She learned knitting from her mother and when her father, also a DIYer, saw his wife was using a wooden with three nails for knitting, he machined her a metal one that Lorraine still has.
