If your Moen faucet is leaking here are videos with tips to fix it.
Moen faucets are some of the most beautiful pieces of plumbing you can buy. However, beauty sometimes fades, or leaks from places you'd never expect. Often there's a cartridge inside the base of a Moen Faucet that needs to be replaced. For the most part, the repair requires disassembling the faucet, remember where all the washers go, pulling out and replacing the cartridge and putting everything back together.
Sounds easy, right? It can be if you watch the following videos about repairing a leaky Moen faucet. These will prepare you with what do if the cartridge sticks or if the faucet doesn't come apart as you expected.

Want another look at replacing a 1225 Moen cartridge? This video has a few better angles than the previous one, particularly when it comes to replacing the D-ring and removing some of the tabs. You'll also want to be sure the tabs are lined up correctly so that the water is flowing properly.
After watching the faucet repair video, you may be wondering what type of Moen cartridge you need. There is definitely more than one. One of the quick ways to tell if if you pull out the lever to run the water or if you turn it. For the 1225, you pull out the Moen cartridge to run the water. For the 1222 cartridge, you usually turn a handle. Watch the video for more details.

There are times when you're replacing the Moen faucet cartridge and the plastic tool that comes with the repair kit won't work. You'll need to use a needle-nose plier or two screwdrivers to get the cartridge to move and you should be able to get the cartridge out.
Now if you have to replace the entire faucet for some reason (perhaps there were bigger problems that you didn't expect) then here's the official video from Moen about installing a new faucet. Take a look and hopefully all will go smoothly.
