The Big Irish Fair, RivahFest and more craft fairs from around the nation
While we can't write about every craft fair and marketplace happening across the country (or the world), we do like to highlight a handful of notable ones each week. If you'd like more people to know about your craft show or event, list it on our Craft Map and we'll gladly consider it for coverage. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

If I lived anywhere near here, I would go to this festival, if only to tell my friends that I spent the weekend in "Smackover." However, the unusual name is not the only attraction — there are many folksy activities to do as well, including horseshoe pitching competitions, bake offs, cake walks and tug of war. There are also a number of activities for children and a "Kid's Corner." And, of course, many artisans will be there to sell their wares.

Have a knack for sleuthing? Nancy "Draw" and the "Arty" boys need assistance in solving the clues the Illinois Art Museum has laid out for them! Prefer something more relaxed? Take a carriage ride and watch historical reenactments along the way. There's also a carnival, a craft show and much more.

With countless spirited activities and the best Irish performers around, leprechauns will surely be present among the throngs. So brush up on a Gaelic accent and check out the Irish Art Show where some find treasures equal to those at the end of a rainbow.
