Article pokes fun at how popular pins often mean ridiculous results
Oh, Pinterest. While we love the popular social media site, we can't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the bevy of perfection (perfect pillows, refashions and, of course, the ever abounding perfect abs) that seem to litter the site. The Stamford Advocate helps alleviate a little of our frustration by highlighting blogs like Craft Fail and Pintester, who collect crafters' failed attempts to imitate the popular posts found on Pinterest. Heather Mann of Dollar Store Crafts says she can tell a project is popular on Pinterest by how many failed versions of it arrive in her inbox.
