Although it takes a little extra time, it is so important to square up your quilt blocks before you sew them together to make your final quilt top. Here's how I square up.
Step 1
Work out what size you need your finished block to be and find the centre of the block.
Step 2
Carefully lay your ruler into place and trim any excess from the edges. Repeat for each side of the block, making sure your ruler stays lined up with the centre. For more details, check out my original blog post: http://thecraftymummy.com/2014/06/square-up-quilt-block/
