Quilting with Triangles — Bowties and Blooms

Step 1

Cut out the following from assorted fabric scraps as listed: - salmon solid, 2 squares measuring 3 and 7/8 inches (9.8 cm) - blue floral print, 1 square measuring 3 and 7/8 inches (9.8 cm) - blue tree print, 1 square measuring 6 and 7/8 inches (17.5 cm)

Step 2

From gray solid fabric, cut: - 4 squares measuring 3 and 1/2 inches (8.9cm) - 5 squares measuring 3 and 7/8 inches (9.8 cm)

Step 3

Cut all the squares, except for the gray 31/2-inch (8.9 cm) squares, in half on the diagonal.

Step 4

Assemble the pieces based on the diagram. Stitch together each quadrant, then stitch those together.
