Comment on this blog post or check out our page on Facebook for your chance to win the book "Hoopla: The Art of Unexpected Embroidery" by Leanne Prain. Published by Arsenal Pulp Press, this award-winning book is filled with unique inspiration for embroiderers of all levels, including 28 patterns.

Here is an excerpt from the book description, courtesy of Arsenal Pup Press:

"Hoopla, by the co-author of the bestselling Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet & Knit Graffiti, showcases those who take the craft of embroidery where it's never gone before, in an astonishing full-colour display of embroidered art. Hoopla rebels against the quaint and familiar embroidery motifs of flowers and swashes, and focuses instead on innovative stitch artists who specialize on unusual, guerrilla-style patterns such as needlepoint nipple doilies and a ransom note pillow; it demonstrates that modern embroidery artists are as sharp as the needles with which they work."

Until Monday, April 23rd at 11:59 p.m. (EST), you can win a copy of this beautiful book! Along with the book, the kind people at Arsenal Pup are also including a gift bag, filled with fantastic items like an embroidery hoop, cool buttons and more.

To enter, answer the following question either as a comment below or on our dedicated Facebook widget: What kind of design would you like to learn how to embroider, and where would you put it?

Good luck!

I have this crazy black and white comic book print that I'd love to learn a good filler stitch to fill with color. This book looks really fun! Thank you for the chance to win a copy.

I'd like to embroidery some cheap t shirts for my kids rather than pay a fortune for ones already done in the shops.
