Why didn't we think of this? Make your own wallpaper with Sharpie marker paint pens, for a home decor project that costs as little as $8!

All you need is a straight edge and Sharpies, although you might want a level or painter's tape if you are a little nervous about drawing right on the walls.

If you're not into the look of thin lines, check out this video tutorial showing how to paint stripes on an accent wall. Either way, you're sure to add style to your room with this simple DIY wallpaper.
