When it comes to crafty home decor, inspiration is often right around the corner at your hardware store. This DIY light fixture made from paint chips and an IKEA lamp base inspires with its array of Pantone colors. The maker Lilia says she printed her own Pantone chips on quality cardstock, but we love the idea of visiting the paint chips section of your hardware store for a unique color selection. When making lights with a hot glue gun, make sure your light source is not directly touching the hot glue, or use double-sided tape in a pinch.
