Weekend Project — Pom Pom Beanie

Reminiscent of those lovely, ugly hats from the '80s, this chunky beanie, featured on Craftsy and created by Amanda Lilley Designs, uses a loose, lacy stitch for a rather elegant pattern, but the star of this shindig is, of course, the oversized pom pom that sits at the crown of the head. When matched in a vibrant yarn, this knit hat is striking and ironically stylish.
