Transform your tote bag into a folded clutch by simply folding it in half and adding some hardware. It’s just that simple, requiring very little effort with a major style upgrade. That’s exactly what I did with these two tote bags that were given to me by my mother-in-law.
I detached the chain from the handle and linked the two chains together. I then folded the tote and inserted thru the exposed eyelets and wrapped the chain 3 times around.
I hope you enjoyed this DIY and hope it inspires you to look in your own closet for that unused tote and bring them back to life by transforming them into a folded clutch.
