Clutches are the perfect wedding accessory, whether you're the bride or a bridesmaid, because they hold all the little essentials. (Lipstick and tissues, anyone?) We love these ideas from Emmaline Bride to make your accessory even more personal by adding a little DIY to your clutch.

One of our favorite ideas — and maybe even the most simple — is to add a fabric or tulle flower to the clutch. Not sure how to make a tulle flower? This how-to video from Maya Road will walk you through it:

CraftFoxes has plenty more embellishments you can add. Check out a few of these tutorials and choose one that matches your wedding or bridesmaid dress:

Felt Fabric Flower

For a flower that's a lot of fun, try the felt fabric flower tutorial from Sew Very. The best part? There's no sewing machine involved! Grab your glue gun and make one in every color.

Burlap Wedding Roses

These burlap wedding roses from CraftFoxes member Kate Jones are pretty and budget friendly. Kate used hers for bouquets and boutonnieres, but they'd be perfect for clutches, too.

Sew Your Own Clutch

Feeling super crafty? Sew your own clutch from scratch. Take a peek at Victoria's Beaded Bag, Corner Tab Flat Pouch, and this doily-embellished clutch for inspiration.
