This week’s featured CraftFoxes user is Amy Johnson, who also runs the Maker Mama blog. On her blog’s About page, Amy lays out the manifesto of her crafty website. She says, “Here at Maker Mama you'll find tutorials and projects, along with musings about my experience of motherhood, ideas on living a 'greener' lifestyle, and some of my favorite thrifty and crafty finds. I hope you leave inspired to make a little something of your own, and I would love to hear from you.” One recent project from Amy is her DIY Lampshade Basket. This is a great and crafty way to convert a thrifted lampshade into a different homeware item to hold your kid’s toys, office supplies or just about anything else.
