Even if you never would’ve thought to try a more formal hat, you’ve probably been acquainted with fascinators, like the one worn by Sally Bercow. The almost-not-hats are essentially elaborately decorated headbands and have been a big accessories trend over the past few years. You can fashion one easily by adding bits of netting and feathers to a slim headband, or find them pre-made everywhere from Forever21 to bridal boutiques. Even better, they pair just as nicely with jeans and a tee as with a formal dress.
