Ugly Christmas sweaters are desired for their tacky, dated designs, but Skedouche, a clothing design company infamous for their intentionally hideous holiday wares, designs each of their sweaters and garments to be as kitschy as possible. John Kaplar started the company when, as he reported to Time this week, he "was frustrated with the lack of tacky sweaters in men’s sizes." Kaplar would search the women's department at stores like J.C. Penney and Walmart, but rarely found clothes big enough to fit his 6-foot, 4-inch frame. In 2009, he began designing festive holiday apparel, which he now sells on Skedouche, a name inspired by the movie "Kung Fu Panda." The site now features sweaters and accessories for adults, kids and even pets, and its creations were featured on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "The View."
