Knitting Inspiration in Fashion

Posted by Grace Jones on Mar 10, 2012

Every season I look to the runways for knitwear trends, stitch patterns, methods, colors, etc...
This Fall/Winter 2012 was a bit skimpy in the knits, I am sad to say. However, I was pleased to see that Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui had some of the most whimsical crochet designs of the season. This gallery is a collection of the FW 2012 RTW knits and crochet garments that stood out to me.

The brocade sweater will be liked by more people if the tunnel rush detail is added in the shirt. It helps the shirt to be embellished and create a youthful feeling with this dark blue color.

Knitting pattern seterra has never been out of fashion. They just change from small knitting patterns to large and circular knitting patterns.
