Peanut Butter Doggie Treat

Treat your pet with these easy to make Peanut Butter cookies.
Or, if your pet prefers pumpkin or sweet potatoes you can switch the peanut butter with them. They will love it all the same.
Make sure that the peanut butter you are using does not contain Xylitol because it is HIGHLY toxic to dogs.
 
Ingredients
2 cups flour (or whole wheat flour)
1 cup low-fat milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter if you pet is allergic to peanut butter)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Mix the flour and baking soda in a bowl.

Step 3

Combine peanut butter and milk in another bowl and mix.

Step 4

Add the wet mixture to dry mixture, and mix them well together.

Step 5

Put the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead thoroughly.

Step 6

Roll out so dough is 1/4-inch in thickness, then cut out shapes or use a dog bone cookie cutter.

Step 7

Lightly grease a baking sheet and put the cookies on it. Bake 20 minutes. Check on them frequently as they can burn easily.

Step 8

Cool on a rack.
