For the Loopy Fringe, it says:
** Ch 1, sc in first dc, ch 18, sl st in top of last sc—lp made, sc in each of next 2 sts, sc in next st, lp, rep from * to end of row. Fasten off. *
With RS of work facing. Join yarn with sl st to foundation chain. Working into rem lps of foundation ch, rep from ** to **.
In the first row, it says to "rep from * to end of row" but there is no single * before this. In the second row, it says "rep from ** to **." but there is no second **.
    Could you please clarify?
