I would like to make this blanket but want to make sure I am reading this right- use a I-9 hook with this "fingerling yarn. Isn't that needle much too large for such fine yarn?

I really like this pattern and I was actually working it for a friend's baby. Funny thing is, the rnd 2 for the border (Step 2) is completely missing from this page! I was fortunate enough to be able to pull up the day-to-day calendar and the information was available as a preview. I appreciate being able to access this pattern for free, but when posting, please be sure to list ALL the steps/rounds required otherwise, your post is pretty useless. Here is the last round for the border you missed!

STEP 2: Rnd 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), *dc in each sc to marked st, 5 dc in marked st (corner), rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of beg ch3. Fasten off.

Thank you so much for noticing the missing line! We added it to the pattern.
