You might not think of bingo cards as a paper craft material, but if you love playing bingo and crafting there’s a lot of fun to be had combining those passions. To make bingo cards at their simplest, all you really need is a printer and paper, but there are a lot of creative craft ideas that you can use to embellish your bingo cards and create something unique.

For example, Soma Venus turned a couple of vintage bingo cards into sketchbooks so cool (pictured above) they were featured by Martha Stewart. If you’re unsure where to begin with your home-made bingo cards, we’ve came up with a couple of ideas for easy-to-make crafts to get you started on making your very bingo card crafts.

Cherry’s Jubilee embellished some unused bingo cards with Victorian illustrations of dogs and some ribbon to make a fun faux frame. This multimedia craft with a vintage bingo card has, arf, gone to the dogs.

Ever thought of quilting your own bingo cards? Needled Mom has! She developed her own patchwork of references like apples and bees that everyone can play when they sit outside. Then she stitched together the representative panels into a mini-quilt that can also be made into a wall hanging. Instead of using daubers to mark your card, use small decorative stones or other items as placeholders.
bingo card place settings
If you want to want to take bingo upscale, you can make place settings into bingo cards. One Handspunday made cards with fun activities to do like “Truth or Dare” and “Bachelorette Plays with Her Ring.” Instead of a dauber there are stitches over some of the squares. You can riff on this idea and make cards for a get-together such as a birthday, Thanksgiving or wedding reception.

These are just a few ideas you could try when you make your own bingo cards at home — there are plenty of other materials you can use. If you create anything, be sure to share it with us at CraftFoxes!
