This week’s CraftFoxes user profile shines the spotlight on Andrew Dewar. In his profile, Andrew calls himself a "paper engineer" and his projects certainly reflect that. Andrew is an author who has been featured on the CraftFoxes site in our Handmade Conversations series. Andrew’s books and origami kits have been published both here in the U.S. and in Japan. His projects here on CraftFoxes include Paper Airplanes, Karakuri Toys, and a Papercraft Jumble. In his interview with CraftFoxes, Andrew gave this advice for origami artists: “Start folding! Any kind of paper is good enough to practice with. Books are great for ideas and for learning folding techniques, and by all means try the pieces in them, but don't try hundred-step pieces too soon, and don't feel you can't try things on your own. The magic words that conjure up the best creations are What happens if I do this?”

Thanks! Still folding, and still being surprised by what appears in the paper!
