We love to see member submissions! This week we are celebrating some fantastic Christmas sewing projects posted by members. We start out with Heather Valentine's mini Christmas tree ornaments, perfect for using up colorful scraps of fabric. For step by step directions, follow along here.
Soft felt circles stack one on top of the other to create these trees. Add embroidery embellishments or sequins for a little sparkle. Thanks to Craft Foxer
Rachel for this easy sewing idea.
For the full tutorial, visit the project or the Handmade Charlotte website.
CraftFox member Deby Coles submitted this idea for an advent calendar. In each numbered pocket is a minature ornament, which is hung on a hook sewn to the felt tree. It's a clever way to count down the days to Christmas!

Burlap and adornments make these trees the perfect rustic decorations. Member Shelley Levis was kind enough to give us the template for this project.
