I love to sew — it's especially fun to upcycle fabrics to create new fashions. With today's economy, I think it's great that you can take something out of style or that you just don't wear anymore and bring new life to it. You can make a cute new mini skirt out of a large T-shirt, or cut off the bottom of a dress shirt and add pretty lace. I also love quick and easy sewing projects that make you feel good about finishing something! Here are some great patterns to stitch up for your family and yourself.
