Hell-bent on going on a Black Friday bender? Then consider putting a little more craft into your spree-for-all. This weekend in particular offers variety in its handmade haunts. From craft fairs that honor the broken-walleted to marketplaces that propose philosophical ponderings while you purchase, there genuinely seems to be something for everyone.

While we can't write about every craft fair and marketplace happening across the country (or the world), we do like to highlight a handful of notable ones each week. If you'd like more people to know about your craft show or event, list it on our Craft Map and we'll gladly consider it for coverage. You can also email us at info@craftfoxes.com.

A bit like the clearance rack for crafters, this annual shopping event in New Hampshire hosts only vendors that commit to selling the bulk of their wares for $50 or less. (We'll be relying on the less part of that promise.)

Niagara Holiday Market
Nov 25, 12-5

America's largest Euro-style holiday market will open this weekend and will feature Etsy studio vendors like The Secret Chicken and Vegetabowls. Yep, chickens crafted from secrets and bowls made from veggies.

Art vs. Craft
Nov 26, 10-6

This juried show not only features unique crafts from around the Wisconsin area but also offers up the labyrinthine debate on the differences between art and craft. We're assuming it's more than just an over-developed snootiness, right?

Renegade Craft Fair's Holiday Austin
Nov 26-27, 11-6

Austin, Texas, is hosting its first holiday-themed Renegade Craft Fair. Expect over 150 indie crafters, DIY Christmas ornament workshops and even a half-mermaid, half-lumberjack photo booth. Keep crafting weird, we suppose.

This irreverent craft show in downtown Seattle features unique creations like waterproof shower art (we're not sure what that is but are very excited anyway), business monkey belt buckles and more geek chic giftery.
