Photography is said to provide proof of reality, but Lara has turned it into an expression of the intangible- to capture your imagination, your emotions, and your fantasies. Her ethereal style is explained by the source of her inspiration- many of her works started as visions in reoccurring dreams. Having both training from the commercial world and a network in the fine art community, she has adapted a balance of conducting a shoot in a professional manner with a unique touch that gives it that ‘extra something’ that holds the viewer’s gaze.
