DIY Pine Cone Christmas Trees

Materials
Clean pine cones
Craft paint
Brush
Craft glue
Glitter
Small terracotta pots
Aluminum Stars
 
1.) Wash the cones in a soapy water to remove any critters. The pines may close when wet, put after a day when they have dried will open up again.
2.) In the mean time, paint the pots.
3.) When the cones have dried , paint the tip of each scale of the pine cones.
4.) After the paint has dried, put a thin line of glue on the edge of the scales near the top of the cone and sprinkle with glitter to look like it was dusted with snow.
5.) Wait for the glue to dry and set each pine cone in a pot, and make stars from a craft foil.
