Knitting Cruises in Europe and the Caribbean

On a new take on craft retreats, AmaWaterways will host several knitting-themed cruises to Europe and the Caribbean, hosted by Barry Klein, author and owner of Trendsetter Yarns. Klein is also noted as one of the knitting world’s most influential men, an honor shared by Charles Dickens and Edward VIII, England's Duke of Windsor. Knitters will meet daily to network and discuss trends as well as work with luxury yarns and attend classes on stitch patterns and techniques. AmaWaterways is hoping to appeal to the growing younger generation of knitters, calling the cruise “an onboard knitting meet-up.”
