My daughter, Erin, loves cats. Especially her cat, Fluffy. And she loves to read. She especially loves to read about cats. Her love is what inspired me to make my first quilt - the Krazy Katz quilt.

I designed the quilt to have a bookshelf surrounded by cats - featuring Erin's real life cat - Fluffy. He is the orange and white one. Erin saw my sketch and drew a little mouse on the shelf next to the sleepy kitty.

The Krazy Katz pattern instructions are for a finished quilt measuring 74.5" x 85". This allows for approximately 10" of drop on both sides and the bottom of a standard double bed. Any size quilt can be made by adjusting the width of the borders, the width or height of the bookshelf, etc.

Materials: Fabric, batting, thread, fusible fleece, paper backed fusible web, small amount of yarn, and two buttons.
